Sunny Sunday...

We had another awesome weekend!  Chris' parents came in for some much needed baby time...can't believe it had already been over a month since we had last seen them, and how different Rylie already was since that last visit!  She loved interacting with them and following them around (or, having them follow her! little mischievous thing she is already!).

They arrived about mid-day Saturday, just as Rylie was waking from her morning nap.  We all had a little lunch, and then the girls went one way and the boys went the other.  The girls had some shopping to do :-)  Grandma bought Rylie a beautiful Easter dress and accessories (sweater, rumba tights).  I think the boys actually went shopping, too...but they got more manly stuff, like White Castle, ha!

Matt, Jenn, and Cousin Jack came over in the afternoon.  The girls hung out with the babies while the boys did more "manly" stuff (and by "manly", I really mean playing some nerdy board game...but Chris doesn't really want that getting out too much.  Ooops, sorry honey!).  We ate some awesome BBQ'd burgers and brats and some pasta salad for dinner.  Just like summer time!  Oh, and we had Birthday Cake ice-cream for dessert to celebrate my birthday a little early (there's your warning, everyone!  haha)... It was AWESOME!  Connie also gave me this really cool bag for my birthday.  I must take a picture and show it off here soon.  Love it :-)

Sunday was another Game Day.  Which also means we were outside and able to take lots of fun pictures! This Sunday, Jenn and Jack joined us, too, so we got a few of the babies together...gosh, it is hard to get everyone looking the same direction and not blinking/crying/squinting or any other sort of quick baby movement that they do.

I borrowed Matt and Jenn's camera for these...it's still a Nikon DSLR like mine, but way better!!  I'm just a tad jealous!!!  Remember...I did give you all fair warning that my birthday is coming up :-)  Ha!

Enjoy these pictures...

9 Month Stats...

Just a quick post...I keep forgetting to post her stats from her 9 month check-up!  Here goes:

Weight:  18lbs 15oz
Height:  28 inches

I think she is growing sooooo fast...but then I hear friends talk about how their babies are about 18lbs and 28 inches at their 4 and 5 month appointments!  Jeepers creepers...  sorry Honey, this little munchkin got her momma's short genes!

She is crawling up a storm and pulling up on to everything (just to her knees so far).  It is so funny to watch her on the monitor when she is in her crib, especially at night time.  She is so tired, but sometimes she will still sit up and roll around for a while (no crying at all), just trying to find the perfect sleeping position.  She's got several animals in her crib now to keep her company (Lamby, Bun-Bun, Puppy), plus her little blanky and several pacis!  Tonight she fell asleep on my shoulder instantly when i picked her up from her changing pad after putting her pj's on.  What a sweet heart...

Sunday, Beautiful Sunday...

We had another awesome day today!  The weather was gorgeous!  And it was another sun dress and bonnet hat kinda day for Rylie...  she is irresistibly cute in these dresses and hats!  She was her daddy's biggest cheerleader today at his first flag football game of the season...even though she may not have even noticed that there was much going on beyond the toys and camera accessories she kept busy with on our blanket beside the field :-)

Haha, this last picture sums up Rylie's visit to Uncle Nick's apartment after the game...girlfriend was all over the place and quite a Chatty Cathy!  Jack was hilarious, too...kept giving Rylie hugs and big kisses!! I am so mad I didn't catch it with my camera, but I know there are a few phone-tographs floating around out there :-)  Thanks to Aunt Suzy for making some delicious lunch for us all!!

A wonderful weekend full of family and friends now must come to an end...  I am going to attempt to get up super early and go to the gym before work!  Not sure that is going to work, but I do know that I have got to start getting my act in gear, so here goes nothing!!  Alarm set for 5am... 6hrs, 7 mins and counting...
