Fall 2012...

Since I seem to be royally sucking at keeping up with this blog these day, here are a few photos to help get you caught up on what's been going on in our world lately...enjoy!

Fall Photos:

It seems like all I do is take photos for a living.  Unfortunately, these days, I mostly take pictures for other people.  So a few weeks ago, we actually took the time to try and get a few of our own growing girl and our little family.  I had also recently purchased a new wide angle lens that I wanted to try out, so we headed to the park in downtown Oswego (while the lens was cool, it just wasn't what I was looking for and have since returned it).

Well, this also happened to be the same weekend that she was teething horribly!  Any other teeth before now, we hardly even realized they were coming...but this time, we had some serious cranky attitude and lots of tears!  We got what we could before leaving the park, literally kicking and screaming :-)

Keller's Pumpkin Patch:

Nana and Papa came to visit!  Despite the wind and cold temperatures, we headed out for our annual pumpkin picking adventure!  This year we visited Keller's Pumpkin Patch, just a few miles down the road from home.  We also opted for the "already picked" pumpkin patch, because of the super cold wind.

Rylie had a great time touching many of the pumpkins in the field, while mommy stressed about trying to get some pictures!  Again, we never seem to take any of our own kid and family anymore, so I was determined!  Thankfully, with our new iPhones, we were able to get all of these pictures below.  Love this phone!  They were so easy to take and even edit slightly, and I even downloaded an app that allows me to order prints directly from my phone....we received the prints yesterday, and they actually turned out great (considering they were from a phone!).  So I guess now I have no excuse not to mail pictures out (oh, except for the fact that I have almost zero time to myself!)  :-)

Halloween:

Rylie has the cutest little kitty cat meow "mau".  So we thought it would only be fitting if she would be a Kitty for Halloween (last year she was the Bunny).  I also love these costumes, because you can add layers underneath without taking away from the look costume and still stay warm!

Our big girl absolutely LOVED her first time Trick or Treating!!  We visited 4 of our neighbors' houses before calling it a night.  She was so awesome - she giggled and ran and carried her basket of goodies from house to house!  When we got home, we hardly even got through the door and she already plopped her butt down and started going through her candy basket - taking things out and putting them back, over and over again.  So cute!

G-G W...

These photos are for you, great grandma W!! I hate that we don't get to see you nearly as often as we'd like to. Look how big our little angel is getting....

We all miss you very much! Hugs and kisses xoxo

We're baaaaack!

I'm sorry it has been so long!! And unfortunately, I don't have the time at the moment to give you any lengthy description of our goings on over the past few months right now. But I am hoping that now with our latest purchase of the new iPhone 5 that we will be able to keep you all better updated on our lives (of course, if you care!) much easier. Even of each blog post isn't super long or witty, I at least want to be able to offer updates more often.
I promise to deliver a more lengthy post soon. For now, look at this cute face you've been missing out on :-)

Painting! 7.10.12

Hehe, it seems like it is all or nothing with me!  No posts for a long time, now 2 in one day!  This is just a quick one, though...

I've been wanting to take some pictures of Rylie painting for a long time.  i finally bought a huge roll of white paper and thought tonight would be as good a time as any!  Although, it might have been even better to have an extra helping hand to keep the mess contained, but I'm happy to report we didn't get any paint anywhere it didn't belong!

Check out the fun:
