Painting! 7.10.12

Hehe, it seems like it is all or nothing with me!  No posts for a long time, now 2 in one day!  This is just a quick one, though...

I've been wanting to take some pictures of Rylie painting for a long time.  i finally bought a huge roll of white paper and thought tonight would be as good a time as any!  Although, it might have been even better to have an extra helping hand to keep the mess contained, but I'm happy to report we didn't get any paint anywhere it didn't belong!

7.1.12 Trip to Grandma and Grandpa's House

This post is a little over due!!  We headed out to South Bend, IN for the last weekend in June to visit with Rylie's Grandma and Grandpa Chalko.  We always have a great time there!  Lots of time to relax, play games, just enjoy each others' company...and they certainly love seeing what Miss Rylie is up to these days.  That weekend, she was very content pushing her little pink horsey-on-wheels around their kitchen and dinging room, squealing in delight as she went!  She would practically run while pushing this horse, yet she was still hesitant about letting go completely and taking too many steps by herself.

It wasn't until about the 4th of July when Rylie decided that walking was the cool thing to do!  She has been doing great, ever since!  I keep wanting to catch a video or 2 of her walking around now, since she is much better than on the videos I took just about a week ago!  But time is just flying by and leaving me behind!!
