Oh Monday...

Poor Monday gets such a bad rap... No one ever posts how excited they are that it is Monday! There is no mention of TGIM (thank god it's monday). Instead, it is usually greeted with moans and groans that can practically be heard around the world. It signals the start of another work week ahead.
Luckily for Monday, every day is a work day for me (love my new job as a SAHM!), so I'm probably one of the few that don't curse it's arrival every week. Today is just like any other day - get up with the baby, feed the baby, change the baby's diaper, workout with the baby in tow, put the baby down for a nap, feed the baby again, change the baby's diaper again, take the baby to a playdate, put the baby down for a nap again, and on and on and on... Monday's nothin' special around here :-)
Thankfully, we did NOT get the snow that was predicted for this past weekend. The weather was actually quite pleasant! Super sunny and only slightly chilly on Saturday. We had a whole list of errands to run, but after only accomplishing a few in the morning, we opted for a Family Nap Time in the afternoon... On Sunday we went to church and then cleaned the house for some family to come over and watch the Bears game. Rylie was having a bit of an "off" day, but she still looked adorable in her Bears Cheerleader outfit!! She makes her Daddy so proud :-).

And again, we are back to Monday... Today we are heading to a playdate at this really cool cafe - Grounds for Hope. We are going to just hang out today, but I'm sure when Rylie is a little older she will really enjoy this place!

**update: and this is how our Monday ended...with a delicious bowl of carrots and rice cereal  :)
